For the final series of His Dark Materials, Framestore's design team (led by Creative Director Sharon Lock) were asked to create a story sequence to explain the complex origins of the angel's in "His Dark Materials".

The client initially asked for the look and feel to be as if it were 'old', which is where the talented concept artist's came up with this style.

Along with a handful of other designer's, my role was to bring the artwork to life with subtle movement, giving each scene the feeling of depth in 2.5D, using a mixture of After Effects and some C4D.
